Liverpool Academy of Arts in conjunction with
Arthritis
Research Campaign presents the "Liverpool Bear
Festival" in aid of Arthritis Research. ARC has persuaded celebrities from the city of Liverpool and the worlds of television, radio, film and sport to lend their treasured childhood teddy bears from celebrities up and down the country, The LAA has persuaded our talented local artists to produce new paintings, sculptures etc. on a teddy bear theme. Come and see the "teddies" that kept our famous people
company when they were children. (Click
to see a sample of the exhibits) § Come and see the wonderful 'Teddy Bear" art work created by your local artists. (Click to see a sample of the pictures) § Come and support the Arthritis Research Campaign. (The entrance fee of 1£ and 5% of the purchase price of any of the works you buy will be donated to Arthritis Research.) Open Monday to Friday 12 - 4pm starting on Tuesday 18th April until 5th May. |
