A Private CollectionThis is a wonderful exhibition containing paintings, many of which have not been seen in public for decades, by thirty nine celebrated Merseyside artists. There are works by Royal Academy members - Maurice Cockrill, John Bratby and Phyllis Hibbert and prominent Merseyside artists such as Don MacKinlay, George Drought, Emma Blazey and others. They are all part of a single collection built up over the last fifty years which is being offered for sale as the owners no longer have the space to display it.
