Hearts and Minds

Red Dot is an artist collective which has over 25 visual artists on their books, drawn mainly from Liverpool. Their exhibition here includes paintings, mainly abstract expressionist and figurative, abstract oriented photography, mixed media, installations, and sculptures.

As well as staging numerous exhibitions, including the last two Liverpool Art Biennials, Red Dot held a Visual Arts Festival in Liverpool in March 2008, which included workshops and debates. They are planning to run such an event on an annual basis. Red Dot have a strong commitment to recycling, and held an exhibition called 'Rags to Riches' in Liverpool at the end of 2007 in which all the artwork on show was produced from waste materials and found objects. Following the success of this exhibition Red Dot are staging a Recycling Week in Liverpool during September. For further information about Red Dot click on their logo on the left.

The Exhibition is open from 7th to 23rd May 12 til 4, Monday to Friday.
