Simon well known for his passion for the music of the 50s and 60s
and is a frequent exhibitor at Rock ‘n’ Roll festivals and his paintings of bands and singers from
that period will be familiar to many of you from his exhibition here last year
He found the inspiration for the
paintings in this exhibition in the various music icons who have had bad images both as performers and
in their private lives. You will find Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Gene Vincent,
Lennon, the Stones, the Sex Pistols of course and many more here, all painted with Simon’s unique style, passion
for authenticity and eye for detail
The exhibition is open Monday to Friday between 12
and 4.00 pm from Tuesday 8th until Friday 18th November. For details on how to get
