This exhibition is unusual in that it presents the same subjects from two different perspectives those of a father and daughter. Both have a passion for photography and this combined exhibition gives a fascinating insight into the different approaches that can be taken.
David Reilly grew up in Plymouth and after qualifying as a doctor worked at various posts within England, Kuwait and New Zealand. He has worked in the Wirral, where his mother was born, since 1996 and has been a consultant general surgeon since 1988. When not operating he is fell walking, photographing, cycling, reading, gardening and trying to learn to use a computer.
Katharine Reilly, whose mother comes from Liverpool was born in Leicester, educated in New Zealand, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire and gained a degree in English at Bristol. Her time is divided between photography, cooking, reading, fell walking and learning Portuguese.
