Marcy Lanza describes herself as a contemporary artist who relentlessly loves to experiment with colors, shapes, textures - any medium, to create manifestations of energy through movement. - "What I love most are the infitite possibilities waiting to be discovered".
She achieves this through spontaneous techniques which are then enhanced and developed compositionally.
Marcy studied with Richard Pousette-Dart, Gregory D'Alessio, Terry D'Alessio and Daniel Maloney at the Art Students League in New York city and at the Abstract Art classes taught by Judy Gough (WEA Liverpool). She has exhibited art the Art Students League in NYC and at The Liverpool Academy of Arts, Hanover Gallery, Blackburne House and St. George's Hall in Liverpool.
Marcy is based at "THE STOODIO" 36 Seel Street, Liverpool , England, L1 4BE where she also teaches basics of abstract art. For more information please email The Liverpool Academy of Arts.
