Nick Victor |
||
Nick Victor began his training as an artist in the early 70's community bohemian scene. He paints humorous and idiosyncratic pictures, working mostly in watercolour and gouache. His off-beat paintings are finely wrought, and are jewel-like windows into an imagination fired by the effects of the nuances and complexities of our lives. His fascination for the design of textiles and cloth result in the characters in his work being adorned in extraordinary costumes of finely detailed patterns and colours. "Spaces, Angels and Domestic Life", displays his interest in the magical and the mystical, and the spaces that we fill with our workaday, domestic interactions. Nick has lived, exhibited and sold works in his native Britain, as well as Texas and Israel.
The exhibition will open Monday to Friday between 12 and 4.00 pm from Tuesday 11th to Friday 22nd June. For details on how to get there see How to Find Us
